6" Carbon Steel Schedule 40 double-bevel pipe coupon, prepped for a full-penetration groove weld. Both ends beveled for open root fit-up, typically set with land and root gap per WPS. Standard carbon steel test piece used for qualification, requiring proper heat control and fusion from root to cap.
